A&P Supervisor
Technician
Cincinnati /Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assigned maintenance personnel while on duty
- Responsible for assigning tasks to technicians on his/her crew to efficiently manage assigned project
- Identify critical path tasks within assigned project, prioritize critical items and sequence tasks to achieve optimum efficiencies and deliver objectives including effective labor hour management
- Accurate and timely management of work orders in Corridor
- Monitor day-to-day activities for assigned area and report status, issues and risks to Operations manager
- Ensure that work completed complies with Repair Station Manual, Quality Control Manual, FAA regulations and Customer expectations
- Ensure technicians are following all policies and procedures including time management and associated daily labor data entry
- Ensure time/labor recording is accurate in all related labor management systems
- Complete verbal, written and/or electronic turnover indicating status of work progress
- Responsible for adequate training of computer software, company policies, test equipment and systems to each technician on his/her work team
- Responsible for coordinating maintenance priorities with the Operation Manager, perform maintenance, service aircraft and components, providing assistance to maintenance technicians to help maintain RTS fidelity
- Present a clean and safe work area to customers and employees
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a positive customer service attitude
- Work overtime as required to ensure project goals are met
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of five (5) years experience with various types of aircraft, power plant maintenance and inspections
- Prior leadership experience preferred
- Requires excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to effectively coordinate with multiple departments
- Planning and organizational skills necessary
- Computer experience in Microsoft Office software products
